I had planned a photo shoot for Friday 9th December 2016 at my first shooting location with my model. However delays caused issue with timings. These included me running late to get to the location and me and my model spending time with are friends while in the cafe location. I did however manage to get a collection of few good photos. This first shoot has given me insight in how the work with lighting and angles. This is good because I can then use my new skills on my second shoot on Sunday 11th December 2016.
I chose this one particular area in the cafe. It was a boxed seating area with a wood panel and tile affect. This area look really artistic and offered a great setting, as it looks homily and natural which is how I want my artist to come across as.
This image was taken without the flash on compared the image below which used the flash. I think not using the flash gave the best effect personally, as the lighting looks more natural and not as shady. In the picture on the left, i got my model to look away from the camera with her hair covering one side of her face. I did this as it added mystery.

>>>> I then did a photo using a more up close medium shot. Showing my artists full clothing. My model is looking away from the camera and is looking away. Her facial expression is simplistic showing her natural beauty, which works well with the feel of the location because it is also simplistic. This shot type allows my artist to be fully seen but also allows her to pose.

<<<< My next shots where close ups of my artists face. Her facial expressions show her innocence. This images and the shot type will also be perfect to use on my front cover. However I am going to take some more images to chose from for my front cover. >>>> The image on the right and the left both use direct mode of address which is something I want to include in my magazine especially on the front cover as from my research this is want is commonly used for main cover stars on magazines.
The final two images are very similar to the other already mentioned in this post. However they are my least favourite as my artists pink socks can be clearly seen. To avoid mistakes like this again my i am going to ensure my artists socks are covered at all times in future shoots and ensure they are also a less obvious colour. I also don't like them because of the angle I have shot them at they look very amateur,
For my first photography session I think my starting images have turned out well, meaning hopefully they can get better over time as my skills evolve as I use a range of shots, poses and locations.
