Layout Exercise

To help me understand the layout an conventions of music magazines, I was given five different magazine covers. They had a main cover image, the masthead and a bar code. But it was without a main cover line or other cover lines. It was my job to add these features, I also had to plan the content that was going to be including in the cover lines. I also had to decide on the typography to suit the magazines target audience and the artists genre that are featured on the covers. Over the next 5 days I will be posting each individual finished magazine and explaining my choices. I hope to take advantage of this as it will show me further the importance of typography, layout and ethos. I can use this task when it comes to making final decisions on my own music magazine.
