Pitch Magazine 

This magazine is also for the mass market. It would reach the same audiences as the magazine NME. The image on the cover is very demonic and strange due to the eye contact and look - it is of Marilyn Manson so this suits her personality and music style. I have put the stars name in black font down the right hand side of the page. This is different and not generic just like the feel of the magazine. I also put anchorage text with the cover line. I added a quote from Marilyn to make the reader intrigued at the bottom of the page under the close up image of Marilyn Manson's face.  I then chose to put the other cover lines in white and purple. I chose to use purple as I saw a link between the colour with the colour of the artists lips - this links the magazine together. I put the cover lines on the left side of the page around the artists face, so it can still be seen. I think this works because they can still be seen but aren't separate from the rest of the cover.
