Organisation: Artist Outfit

In a previous post I talked about the look of my artist and the way I want her to be perceived. I must also use what my model is wearing to further create an identity for my artist. Female artist are very much often taken as style icons so what my artist wears must be suitable and create the correct idea. I want my artist to be a good role model. So for this she must be fashionable but must have class.

The established artist i'm going to take example from is...
Taylor swift

Her style isn't always dressed up glam in ball gowns and dresses. She is often seen in a casual jean with a nice t-shit that complements her lipstick. I think this is how I want to present my artist as I want her to look ordinary in a way. I want her to be relateable and to do this she must look like her style is achievable. Taylor is my inspiration as she is able to look good in anything she wears which shows she is comfortable in what she choices to wear. She is able to pull off simplistic looks to show class and elegance. My artist will hopefully do the same.

Chloe is going to wear a black bomber jacket, as it is traditional an item related with vintage clothing. Many young people own a similar jacket. so this choice would suit my demographic. Bomber jackets are currently trending high which I believe would match the conventions of the pop genre. As things in the pop genre are often seen trending high. It is important that what she wears is fashionable and then people are likely to recreate the outfit if it is trendy because they will want to wear it.

She will able be wearing black jeans, to match the style of Taylor swift wearing jeans fashionably. Although they are black like the jacket the the shirt choice will have plenty of colour and will standout more. The colour will also match her lipstick which will work well. I don't have set shirt for my model as of yet however it will match the colour scheme I will eventually choice for my magazine.

Shoe choice is also important to ensure there is coherence throughout the outfit however they will not always be seen due to me using different angles and camera shots, I am planning on my model wearing either white or black converse with the outfit, with the opportunity of wearing both.
