Here is a selection of photographs I have took of my model for my remake remodel task. I decided to begin by trying out different poses and backgrounds with my artist. This would give me the best opportunity to choose the best image for my cover. By going a collective of images I was able to see what did and didn't work. I can use this to learn when it comes to taking the photos for my final magazine.
The background I chose to use was a white background with a white light shining through. This was in a museum that I visited in Liverpool. This would help me model stand out more in the image. I had my model pull different facial expressions. After previous research I have found that the majority of images used on magazine front covers use artists using direct mode of address. So it was likely that I used an image that uses full eye contact. I decided to have my model pull different faces to see which one matched the magazine I was trying to recreate. The image I chose is full of life and reflects the artist in the original magazine. Although my model is not pulling the same pose, it still offers the energy the magazine portrays.
